One’s life can be a song of worship. Music can be beautiful or obnoxious. We can sing for selfish gain or share our gifts, money and time with others. I have tried both and that is why I choose to live my life as His song instead of my own.
This blog includes Bible studies, poetry, links to books and music I have written, other music and devotionals.
I appreciate all those who follow, read and “like” my writings and music and hope you find some encouragement here.
I was born in San Jose, California and graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible School and Western Kentucky University with a double major in Religious Studies and Communications. My previous work includes Spiritual Director and speaker of Nashville Chrysalis, as well as assistant Spiritual Director and speaker for Nashville Emmaus.
I have served in churches as a pastor, associate pastor, worship leader, sound engineer, media director, usher, greeter and Sunday School teacher. In addition, Don has served as a short-term missionary to Brazil and India. Currently, I work in Network Development for a correctional managed health care company in Brentwood, TN and live in a small town called White House , TN, where I serve on the media team at The Northridge Church and teach Bible studies in my home.
I am the author of Are Your Ready To Serve? and the upcoming book, Living in God’s Peace, due to come out in 2013.
Blessings to all of you as you sing for God in your own ways.
Thanks for visiting. May our lives be a song for God.
Don
